Danilo Molina

Web Developer - Web Designer

Well I am sitting here thinking what is it that I really do? I ask myself this often when people ask me what I am studying or what I do. When I say I am a web developer I can see in their faces and they basically don’t have any idea what it is.

A web developer has the knowledge of the principals to create a successful website. (e.g. xhtml, css, asp.net, php, databases, jquery, javascriptetc.) I have a love of technology and a desire to learn more every day.

This passion started in the mid 1990's when the internet became available for commercial applications.

At that time, html and JavaScript ruled the web and Paint Shop Pro was the most popular program for preparing images for websites. Connection to the internet was painfully slow, using a dial up modem through the telephone line

Things have come a long way since then, I have continued to study and learn and recognise that this process is ongoing with the rapid development of the capabilities of web.

Tony Hutson

Web Developer - Web designer

Prior to 2000, Tony worked in an accounting role for a major financial institution. Between 2000 and 2010, he worked as a programmer for a mail house writing code predominantly in Perl.

Tony’s contribution to GoWide is largely in the programming area. With experience in programming in a mainframe environment starting in 1985. The advent of personal computers and access to fast access to the internet has presented an exciting extension to his programming. Tony studied at Hornsby TAFE in 2009 and 2010 to bring his web programming skills up to date and has been writing programs predominantly in PHP and MySQL since then.

Photography is something of a hobby if not an obsession for Tony. Australia provides a clarity of light that is needs to be experienced to be understood. He feels fortunate indeed to be located to the North of Sydney where golden sandy beaches lead up to the mouth of the Hawkesbury river and the aquatic playgrounds that are Pittwater, Cowan Creek and Broken Bay. This area is surrounded by several national parks the largest of which is Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park .
